We invite recognised experts and senior researchers to propose and chair cohesive, focused sessions. This is your opportunity to curate a dedicated forum on a pressing or emerging theme within medical technology or engineering.
What we are looking for:
Proposals for 90-minute sessions, typically containing 3-5 presentations.
Compelling themes that address current challenges, future trends, or interdisciplinary intersections.
Sessions that promise to stimulate discussion and attract a significant audience.
Your proposal should include:
Proposed Title: A clear and engaging title for the session.
Session Chairs: Names, affiliations, and short bios of the proposed chair(s).
Abstract/Rationale: (200-500 words) Explain the session’s theme, its scientific and practical significance, and its relevance to the conference.
List of Potential Speakers: While not mandatory, including 2-3 confirmed or targeted speakers with tentative titles significantly strengthens your proposal.
Format: Indicate if you envision a traditional presentation session, a panel discussion, or a hybrid format.

Upon Acceptance:
Session chairs will be responsible for promoting their session, managing the call for papers for it, and ensuring the timely submission and review of abstracts.
The conference committee will provide the submission infrastructure and support.
- The manuscripts (papers) for accepted sessions should be submitted before:
June 01, 2026July 15, 2026 [Extended Deadline].
Additional Requirements & Guidelines:
- Minimum submissions: A special session requires at least 5 submitted papers.
- Session maintenance: To keep the session in the final program, at least 3 papers must be accepted after peer review. If fewer than 3 are accepted, the session may be merged or cancelled.
- Inclusion in the program: Based on the number of accepted papers, not merely submitted ones.
- Review process: The special session chair assigns reviewers. A rigorous peer‑review process applies, with at least 3 reviews per paper.
- Chair submitting to own session: Allowed, but the chair must recuse themselves from the review and decision process for their own paper (handled by co‑chair or publication chair).
- Free registration for special session chairs: A chair receives free registration for their own paper if their session has 5 registered papers (their paper + 4 other registered papers).
