All authors of accepted papers must follow the steps below to prepare and submit their final manuscript for publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

⚠ IMPORTANT: Your paper WILL NOT be published in the proceedings unless ALL steps below are completed by the deadline.

Step 1 – Revise Your Manuscript

Carefully review the feedback provided by the reviewers. Please log into your CMT Author Console to view the detailed reviewer feedback for your paper. We strongly encourage you to carefully consider and address these comments when preparing your final manuscript.

Step 2 – Format According to IEEE Template

Your final PDF must strictly follow the official IEEE conference template.

Download the template: https://sime-conf.org/author-guidelines/

CRITICAL: Ensure that ALL fonts are embedded in your PDF. Papers with missing fonts will be rejected.

Step 3 – Use IEEE PDF eXpress for Conformity Check (MANDATORY)

To ensure your manuscript meets all IEEE publication requirements, we strongly recommend using IEEE PDF eXpress – a free online service that validates PDF compliance with IEEE Xplore standards.

IEEE PDF eXpress Access:

• Website: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/Account/Login

• Conference ID: 69265X

How it works: Upload your source file (Word/LaTeX) or PDF, and the system will:

  • Convert your file to an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF
  • Check for missing fonts, incorrect margins, and formatting errors
  • Generate a validation report highlighting any issues

Note: Passing the IEEE PDF eXpress check does NOT replace peer review – it is a technical compliance tool. However, papers that fail the PDF eXpress check will not be accepted for publication. We strongly advise using this service well before the deadline to allow time for corrections.

Step 4 – Final Proofreading

Check your paper thoroughly for typos, grammatical errors, and formatting issues. This version is FINAL and will be published exactly as submitted – no further corrections will be possible.

Step 5 – Upload Your Final PDF

Upload your final manuscript as a PDF file via the CMT system.

File naming convention: SIME2026_PaperID.pdf (e.g., SIME2026_123.pdf)

Step 6 – Complete the Copyright Form

You must complete the electronic IEEE copyright transfer form (eCF) through the CMT platform.

⚠ WARNING: Your paper cannot be published without a signed copyright form.

Step 7 – Verify Author Information

Check that the author list, names, affiliations, and their order in CMT are EXACTLY as they should appear in the proceedings.

Changes at this stage are strongly discouraged and may require formal approval.
