All accepted and presented papers at SIME 2026 will be published through one of the following prestigious channels, ensuring broad visibility and accessibility of your research.
1. IEEE Xplore Digital Library
- All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
- IEEE Xplore is one of the world’s most comprehensive repositories for engineering and technology literature. Papers in IEEE Xplore are typically indexed by Scopus, El Compendex, and other major abstracting and indexing (A&I) databases.
Important Policies for All Authors
- Presentation is Mandatory: For a paper to be included in IEEE Xplore, it is mandatory that the paper be presented at the conference by a registered author. No-show papers will be withdrawn from the proceedings.
- IEEE Compliance: For papers selected for IEEE Xplore, the final, camera-ready version must comply with IEEE formatting rules and be validated by IEEE PDF eXpress®. Non-compliant papers cannot be included.
- Peer-Review: All papers are peer-reviewed and must be original, unpublished work not submitted elsewhere.
2. Journal Submission Pathway
- Authors of selected high-quality papers presented at SIME 2026 will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to one of the special issues listed below.
- The extended version must contain a significant amount of new material (typically 30-50% new content) and will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.
- This invitation does not guarantee acceptance, but provides a dedicated pathway for consideration by the journal.
